Description of rounds of the event:

ROUND I - Online Mode

Team Size: Individual Participation
Theme – India By 2047
The Participant must send two pictures of art at different stages while painting (preferably after 50% and 100%).
After registering for the Event, participants will receive an email related to the theme.
The medium of painting is sketches (Pencil, charcoal, ball pen, etc.) or if done with paints like watercolours, oil paints, acrylic paints then the colors are restricted to only Three.
Dimension of Paper- A3 (29.7 x 42.0cm) or (11.69 x 16.53 inches)
The participants must send two pictures of the art at different stages while painting (For example – At 50% and the final at 100% of completion (these percentages are approximate values).
Participants will be sending their painting along with a description to the email Id and telegram before 09-03-2024
Top entries would be posted on our social media accounts and those with more likes(fair ones) are considered.
Paintings or sketches should be the original work of the participants along with their signature/ name at end of their work.
Participants need to send in a short brief about their artwork in up to 50 words.
Submitted paintings will be shortlisted by jury before uploading it to the official VAMNICOM Page.
Start Date: 16-03-2024 (9:00 AM)
End Date: 17-03-2024 (09:00 AM) (this is for getting likes on the posts uploaded in official page )
Result will be declared on 19-03-2024

ROUND II - Offline

Time: 3 hours
Team Size: Individual Participation
The selected candidates will be given the subject on the spot for painting.
The medium of painting (Watercolors, oil paints, acrylic paints, etc.) Or sketch (Pencil, charcoal, ball pen, etc.) is up to the participants.
Dimension of Paper- A3 (29.7 x 42.0cm) or (11.69 x 16.53 inches).
Participants need to present their artwork in up to 250 words.
Paintings that are made in the final round are taken under as a property of VAMNICOM.
The decision of judges will be final and binding.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Read

Both the art forms (painting and sketch) would be judged separately.


Round 1:

Relevance to the Theme – 30%
Creativity and Uniqueness – 30%
Visual and Artistic Impression – 10%
Composition and Depth – 15%
Description and Message – 15%

Round 2:

Relevance to the Theme – 20%
Creativity and Uniqueness – 25%
Visual and Artistic Impression – 25%
Composition and Depth – 15%
Description and Message – 15%

NOTE

Traveling allowances would be provided to the shortlisted candidates for offline events on the provision of proper bills to us after reaching the campus.
Up to Rs.1500/ individual would be refunded.
Accommodation and food facilities will also be provided within the campus for the shortlisted candidates for the offline events.

Prize Money:

1st prize – Rs.7,000/-with certificate and trophy
2nd prize – Rs.5,000/-with certificate and trophy
3rd prize – Rs.4,000/-with certificate and trophy
